Inside our Primary School walls

Inside our classrooms, children discover the joy of learning every day through projects, collaboration, and creative thinking. Inspired by Loris Malaguzzi and Howard Gardner, we believe that every child is unique and understands the world in their own way.

Our role as teachers and parents is to create learning experiences where learners can ask questions, solve problems, test new ideas, and build confidence — all through the power of discovery and projects that bring learning to life.

Breakfast

Breakfast is often called the most important meal of the day — and with good reason. According to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs, children cannot fully focus on learning or feel secure if their basic needs, such as a full stomach, are not met.

It is therefore important that learners eat breakfast at home, or that their lunchbox includes something suitable for breakfast.

At Regio, we ensure that children can start each day with energy and focus.

Healthy Lunchbox & Water

The brain uses about 20% of the body’s energy throughout the day and needs the right “fuel” to maintain focus and learning.

A healthy lunchbox helps learners stay alert and eager to learn. Cookies, chips, candy, and fizzy drinks will be stored away and returned after school.

On Fridays, we have Tuckshop Day, where children may buy and enjoy treats. This day is planned to be less intensive so that learners can relax and have fun together.

Learners must please bring a labeled water bottle every day. Filtered water is available at school, where they can refill their bottles throughout the day.
